Occasionally at work I get a really cool project. The place I work at is a magazine but it also has a TV show that airs on the Outdoor Channel but recently acquired use of showing the “classic” shows on the Pursuit Channel. My boss asked if I wanted to do the shoot for the classic show ad in the magazine so of course I said yes. It would give me a great opportunity to work on studio shooting as most of my stuff is done outdoors in natural light. I was given their concept and asked to do various poses and angles and such. The models, who are employees here, got all dressed up and had their makeup professionally done. We all had a blast trying to get different shots and poses and I tried various setups. I ended up mounting a gelled flash on to the TV to create the TV glow on their faces.
